I am a quiet, sensitive humorous person who, though windowed after a long happy marriage, realise that life is for living but it needs to be shared. The world is a coupledom. I work for part of the month as a judicial officer with the Lord Chancellor's Dept. For the rest of the month I write humorous prose, or at least I did - the muse seems to have left me for the moment. My interests include writing, reading, computers and photography amongst other things. I have a passion for history and am currently writing a book on the American War of Independence. Oh - and I also ride a motorbike. I have a house in North Worcestershire. I have two children who have grown and flown. One to Southern California, and the other not quite so far - or hot. I feel that the right partner would complete my life as perhaps I might her's.

I seek a sensitive caring lady who is sincere and uncomplicated. Someone who is able to accept, and return affection. She is aware of the important things of life, and realises that sharing that life with someone who loves and respects her, is the height of personal achievement. Need affection and consideration, and above all, give and receive love. Life has so much to offer - it is folly to spend it alone. Whilst I would not presume to list characteristics, she would probably be affectionate, modest and smart.
